The new book by Vangelis Giannisis “173 Alexandra Avenue” caused a sensation in the audience in the presentation that took place on the afternoon of Thursday, September 16.
Vangelis Giannisis is the first Greek writer to enter the “sanctuaries” of the Department of Crimes against Life and Personal Freedom and work closely with officers, wanting to present five true stories from the Murders archives and talk about the people behind them. crimes: investigators, perpetrators, those left behind and victims. He referred to his experience through research, as, as he states, he learned to see the human side of crime by stripping true stories.
The narration of events and the reference to methods of investigating crimes, aroused the intense interest of the public, resulting in a discussion and a number of questions to the author.
We thank Mr. Giannisis who accepted our invitation, as well as Dioptra publications for their cooperation.
