On Friday, February 3, we welcomed the 4th Grade of the Kalambaka 5th Elementary School to the Library. We will have the pleasure of hosting students every Friday for a cycle of 4 lessons, as part of an educational program aimed at introducing students to the robotics.
The students were divided into groups, cooperated with each other and built with the WeD0 2.0 Lego educational package, their own robots. They then familiarized themselves with the software, programming the robots to execute specific commands and redesigning solutions. In this way, children learn about science and technology, acquiring knowledge through play.
The goal of educational robotics is to strengthen children’s passion for science and technology, so that they develop skills in 4 different disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
The next meeting will take place on Friday, February 10.
