The Library invites the High Schools of the Municipality of Meteora to participate in a Robotics workshop with the educational package Spike Prime which is designed for B and C Junior.
SPIKE Prime combines the famous LEGO bricks, a powerful multi-door programmable ‘brain’, a Scratch-based programming language, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) courses that boost students’ confidence and critical thinking . The courses combine construction and programming, facilitating the introduction of students to data collection and analysis and problem solving in the real world.
As the Library has the necessary infrastructure to support distance education, some of the packages in its possession will be made available to schools to familiarize students with robotics and new technologies.
