3D Scanning and Printing
The Library’s technological equipment collection was reinforced with a 3D printer and a 3D scanner in 2021, sponsored by EREN Industries Hellas S.A. as part of the collaborative project Wood Carving Remembers 1821 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Empire.
This innovative technological equipment allowed the 3D technology use and utilize, resulting in the creation of laboratories for children and adults.
The aim is:
- Understanding the three-dimensional technology principles.
- Using three-dimensional drawing and scanning tools.
- The complete familiarization with 3D technologies, starting from the design stage to the 3D object printing stage.
