The students of the 2nd High School of Kalambaka became explorers of the sky on Friday, November 4 using the Library’s telescope.
First, the children watched a talk about the sun, its characteristics and environment, but also about the advantages and disadvantages of telescopes and their usefulness to humans. Afterwards, all the children, through special filters, observed the activity of the sun and were impressed by the sight!
Finally, the students had the opportunity to observe animal and plant tissues with the high-quality microscope available in the Library and see in practice all that they talk about in biology class.
We would like to thank the teacher Ms. Sanida Dimitra for the visit and cooperation.
