Stop Motion Animation Workshop: Day 1

The first meeting of the animation workshop in Kalambaka Library was held on Saturday 11/ . Children who were enrolled made their first steps in the animation techniques under the guidance of the graphic designer Virginia Barakou. They tested in practice various techniques, they learned about the history of cinema and watched videos and movies demonstrating the stop motion technique. Then divided into groups they worked on the script and made their own storyboard with the valuable assistance of the issuer Manos Ganas (comics publisher) and Eurydice Bitoula (educator). In the second meeting (next Saturday 18/2) we will get into action and start shooting!
