Today we were pleasantly surprised when Nancy Pearl, “America’s Most Loved Librarian” arrived at the Library. Ms. Pearl, who travelled with her granddaughter, is one of the most famous librarians in the United States. She has written numerous books promoting Literacy and has served as the Executive Director of the Washington Center for the Book at Seattle Public Library. She also has an action figure! Before departing, she signed our Guest Book.
