On the afternoon of Thursday, June 3rd, the meeting of the Adult Reading Club took place. The work of the well–known and award–winning author of crime novels, Petros Markaris, was the topic of the meeting. The members discussed and exchanged views on the author‘s style, a combination of police plot and everyday life. Police officer Haritos, the hero of the author‘s novels, won the sympathy of the members, while the structured narrative and the twists and turns kept the interest and suspense undiminished until the end.
The Reading Club‘s series of meetings ends on Thursday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m. See you in September with new readings!
