This morning we had the pleasure of welcoming to the Library the Professor and historical writer, Mr. Efthimio Chr. Papachristos, who donated two books to the Library; the project “200 Years since the start of the Greek Revolution 1821-2021. Philhellenism worldwide, in Vavaria and the Philhellenic Association of Nuremberg” and his historical opinion “The Battle of Oxyneia (Meritsa) in 1943. The first victorious battle of the National Resistance”, through which the contribution of the Khasias is highlighted in the struggles for the supreme good of liberty.
We are very grateful to Dr. Papachristos for his kind donation, with which he contributed to the enrichment of our collection.
We would like to congratulate him on his thorough research and will be delighted to host him at the Library.
