On Wednesday 24/5, we welcomed the 1st grade of the Kalambaka 1st Primary School to the Library in order for the young students to get to know mr. 2P of Action Aid. The children were delighted with mr. 2P’s experiences from his long journeys and were concerned with the difficulties and social issues he encountered in countries such as Africa.
We then focused on his trip to London and the issue of social inequalities and discrimination. Through interactive games, the children understood that we must accept all children, regardless of their social background, country of origin or language. Finally, guided by our creativity and imagination, we thought about how we would like our world to be in 10 years and what will be our place in it, so that everyone is happy!
