On Wednesday, November 18, the 2D animation workshop was held in collaboration with the UTech Lab of the Eugenides Foundation. The art of 2D animation brings characters, objects and whole worlds to life in the eyes of the spectators, while it is addressed to High School students.
Students who expressed interest participated in the workshop remotely using a special online platform. Participants turned into animators and discovered 2D animation techniques, its basic principles and terminology used by industry professionals. Then they experimented with creating the well-known “bouncing ball animation”, using Animatron software and techniques such as tweening and onion skinning.
We thank the Eugenidou Foundation for the cooperation, as well as the students who expressed interest in this workshop.
