The second online meeting with the author of children’s books, Mr. Vangelis Iliopoulos, took place. At the first meeting on April 22, Mr. Iliopoulos urged our young readers to paint a version of the cover of their favorite book. So, we had the pleasure of admiring the paintings of the children who captured their favorite stories in their own way and to get to know their heroes. Then, on the occasion of Mother’s Day which is in a few days, Mr. Iliopoulos read a short story from the book “I always have the Right” and specifically “Mom’s Song”, which was dedicated to the children who grow up without a mother and to the unaccompanied children wandering alone around the world. This book includes ten short stories by various children’s rights writers, donated to Unicef’s children and hopes to send a message of solidarity and humanity.

Mr. Iliopoulos urged the children to make a short video with their mother where they will sing their favorite song, lullaby or whatever else they want and show it to us at the next meeting that will take place on Wednesday, May 20 at 7:00 pm

Until the day of the meeting you can send the videos you will create with your mother, grandmother or a woman who replaces the mother figure and is important to you, in the e-mail of the Library: info@kalambakalibrary.org

We look forward to hearing your favorite songs!
