In the beautiful and welcoming courtyard of the Library, the meeting of the Adult Reading Club took place on the afternoon of Thursday, May 13. After a long period of online meetings and social distancing, the members met live, observing the necessary hygiene measures.
The topic of the meeting was the work of the beloved and most prolific writer Giannis Xanthoulis. The members referred to his special, brilliant style, the immediacy and the sometimes bitter humor that characterizes his books. The author’s pen made it difficult, it troubled, but at the same time it excited the thought.
The next meeting of the Reading Club will take place on Thursday, June 3 at 6:30 p.m.
