On the morning of Monday, March 22, we had the pleasure to host online the students of the Special School of Livadia and to hold a workshop dedicated to the great double celebration of March 25. We talked to the children about the religious, but also national holiday and what they mean for our country. We talked about the struggle of the Greeks for freedom, while the students talked about their favorite heroes of 1821. Then, the children made their own Greek flag with plasticine, after first analyzing its symbolism and the meaning of the 9 lines.
We thank the teachers of the School, as well as the Principal Mrs. Maggera Harris for the collaboration. We wish, when conditions allow, to have live contact with our new friends!
