The commencement of the summer campaign activities of the Kalambaka Library ended successfully on June 15. The event was broadcast live on Radio Stagon.
Mrs. Katerina Dimoula was present to give the green light, and the Director of the Library, Ms. Pepi Katsiamani alongside her colleagues briefly presented the program of the summer events on the radio show hosted by Mr Vaggelis. Giatas and Mr. Giorgos Parthenis. .
Children and adults alike listened to Mr. Christos Dimopoulos (who arrived from Athens for the happening) and Mr. Giatas discuss about the history of the radio, as well as about the importance of reading. The children also expressed their ideas concerning their favorite books and habits. Present in the event were also the Mayor of Kalambaka, Mr. Sinanis, and the Vice-President of Education, Mr. Drouga. The occasion wrapped up with a game of pinata-smashing in the back yard.
