The Event “Crime in Literature” Took Place

The event “Crime in Literature” was held this afternoon at the Kalambaka Library in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Crime (CESC).
 
Dr. Anastasia Chalkia (General Secretary of the Board of Directors of CESC) developed the subject of the crime in literature. Subsequently, Ms. Martha Lembesi (Criminologist, Director of CESC), developed the topic “Criminology between Literature and Social Reality” and talked about the crime of the spirit of the time in Virginia Woolf’s work. Dionyssis Chionis followed (Lawyer for the Supreme Court, Criminologist, President of the Board of Directors of CESC), by presenting “Crime in the Work of Nikos Kavvadias.” Finally, Dr. Yiannis Panoussis (Emeritus Professor of Criminology), discussed the topic “Criminology and Detective Novel.”
 
The coordinator of the presentations was Evangelia Androulakis (Lawyer of the Supreme Court – Criminologist). After the presentations, an interesting discussion was held.
