On Thursday, February 2, the first 3D scanning and printing course was held at the Trikala 2nd Chance School, in the school’s computer lab, which aims to familiarise  students with this advanced technology. The program is carried out by the Library in collaboration with the Trikala 2nd Chance School and the Penitentiary.

The trainees had a first introduction to 3D technologies, were informed about the advantages and disadvantages and the ever-increasing fields of application, both in the field of entertainment and in industry and technology.

During the program, students will be trained in 3D technologies starting from the stage of scanning, design and even the stage of printing 3D objects.

We would like to thank the Penitentiary of Trikala, as well as the Trikala 2nd Chance School for the cooperation.
