On the morning of Monday, June 29, 2020, the first phase of the Wood Carving workshop took place in collaboration with the Woodcarving School of Kalambaka.
The workshop began with the design and formatting of an object, specifically a fish, with a free hand. The children learned about the design technique and then, under the guidance of the instructor, used their ideas, combined designs and colors and mapped out the form they were inspired by.
The purpose of the workshop was to provide children with stimuli that will stimulate their imagination and creativity.
Many thanks to the Director of the Wood Carving School, Mr. Sotirios Zambouras, for the positive response, as well as to Mr. Kotsira Anastasios, a graduate of the School of Fine Arts for the implementation of the workshop.
On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., the second phase of the workshop will take place, which is the transfer of the sketch that has already been done to the wood.
We are waiting for you to get to know this beautiful art form up close!
