On the afternoon of Thursday 11 August the Kalambaka Library, continuing its summer activities, visited the village of the Municipality of Meteora, Aidona, where the workshop “Routes from the Far East” was held.
The children gathered in the central square of the village in order to get acquainted with the creation of poems, to cultivate their creative way of thinking and to develop their imagination.
Our young friends composed their own poems using the Japanese “Haiku” technique, a verse form quite popular in the West.
Then, the children created origami (birds and boats) to fly mentally to the Far East.
We thank all the participants and the President of Aidona, Mr. Zoika Panagiotis.
