Kalambaka Library visited on Thursday 25/5 and Friday 26/5 the Primary Schools of Oxynia and Agiofyllo respectively, in order to do an action with the 2P educational suitcase of Action Aid.
The young students met the restless traveler 2P and were confronted with important social issues, such as poverty, social exclusion, injustice, human rights, environmental protection, etc.. Specifically, with the action “The whole world in one bottle of water’, the children traveled to Ghana and Kenya and learned how precious water is and how many problems are caused by its lack. The children recorded their thoughts about the waste of this basic good and thought of ways to save it.
Through interactive games, the students realized that we are all Global Citizens, who must protect the world around us, support our fellow humans and love our planet!
