The meeting of the members of the Adult Book Club took place on the afternoon of Thursday 25/11. The topic of the meeting was the Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison, who caused mixed feelings among the members. The way she wrote excited, troubled, challenged and aroused many thoughts and feelings. The members were moved by her novels, which, as they characteristically mentioned, enclose a cruelty and at the same time a deep tenderness. Certainly Toni Morrison left a valuable legacy and sealed world literature with her writing and personality.
The next meeting will take place on Thursday, December 16 at 6:30 p.m. on the subject of the well-known author Soti Triantafyllou.
