The children’s movie “The Jungle Book” was screened on Tuesday, August 20th. It is a cinematic rendition of Rudyard Kipling’s classic novel in live action, a type of cinema that lends a particular plausibility to the fairy tale.
The story focuses on Mowgli, the little boy who grew up in the jungle like a wolf, in the Raksa herd. Young and old werecaptivated and moved by the film’s messages, such as the value of diversity, social equality, the importance of solidarity and support, respect for nature.
The next screening will take place on Tuesday, 27/8 with the movie “The Incredibles.”
