The journey Museum-Kits began. Destination: Public Library of Larisa. The suitcase containing the Cycladic figurines was presented by the library staff to the 3rd Grade students of the 4th Primary School of Larisa.
The children learned about the figurines, their origins, the tools they used to carve them and the map of the Cyclades. Then, playing Timeline, they followed the course of humanity from the Paleolithic period to the Mycenaean Civilization, placing Cycladic civilization in time. Then, using a pattern, they depicted figurines in various shapes, turning them into musical instruments, elegant ladies and sirs with hats and bowties.
The activity will take place the entire month of February at the children’s department of the Public Library.
