The audience of the Library, as well as our little friends from the 1st Primary School of Kalampaka, had the opportunity on Thursday morning to tour the Hellenic Motor Museum via the Zoom platform.

The Hellenic Motor Museum  was founded in 1977 and today its main spaces occupy more than 5,000 sq.m. in a building of unique architecture and aesthetics. Its collection is close to 300 vehicles and is dedicated to the technology and evolution of the car from the late 19th century to the late 20th.

The purpose of the Motor Museum is to inform the public about the achievements of the global automotive industry and to educate young people on road safety and behavior.

The tour took place on all floors of the building, with some pieces of the collection stealing the show! Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Chrysler, Ferrari, Ford are just some of the models that excited the audience with their wonderful design. The children showed interest in the mechanical parts of the cars and asked many questions about their origin. Of course, the museum officials promised to visit it soon and for life.

Many thanks to the Hellenic Motor Museum for accepting to show us its wonderful collection.
