On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 3, the screening of the French film “Sophie’s Misfortunes” took place, in collaboration with the Library and the French Institute of Larissa in order to promote French.
Children and teenagers enjoyed the scandalous Sophie and her adventures, a film by the famous director Christophe Honoré, based on a children’s book written by the Countess of Segur entitled “Les Malheurs de Sophie”, published in 1858.
The screenings of French movies will continue, at the Library, in September with films for all ages, following the hygiene measures.
