The courtyard of the Library is being transformed this summer into a open theater. The free movie screenings are organized by the Kalambaka Library in collaboration with the Municipality of Meteora, of course respecting social distancing.
The screenings started on the night of Wednesday, July 8, with the film “Contratiempo”. On Thursday, July 9, at 9:00 p.m. the film was shown again.
Before the start of the screening, the Director of the Library, Mrs. Theopi Katsiamani, and the Mayor of Meteora, Mr. Thodoris Alekos, addressed the audience with a short greeting. The event was also attended by Mr. George Thomos, Deputy Mayor for Culture, Sports, Education and Social Welfare, as well as Mr. Vassilis Tsikaris, Deputy Mayor for Everyday Life, Cleanliness, Green and Environment.
