On the afternoon of Monday, November 30, the online meeting with the well-known author Stefanos Xenakis took place. Mr. Xenakis, after a successful course in the field of advertising, deals with self-improvement and personal development, which is his great passion.
Initially, Mr. Xenakis spoke about his books, which include everyday, seemingly insignificant, stories, which speak of human values and the importance of selfless love and offering. He then talked to the participants about the difficult daily life we all experience and the ways in which we can fortify ourselves against bad thoughts and behaviors. He referred to stories of people who, while they would have every reason to be unhappy, managed to cope with the difficulties and make their dreams come true. He also advised the public not to remain inactive, not to take anything for granted and to be grateful for what they have in life.
We thank Mr. Xenakis who accepted our invitation and we hope that, when conditions allow, he will visit the Library live.
