On the afternoon of Thursday, March 4, an online event was held with the famous chef Elias Mamalaki on the subject of the Mediterranean (Cretan) diet. Initially, Mr. Mamalakis referred to the multiple benefits of a healthy and balanced diet and the nutritional values ​​of the products. He analyzed the high nutritional value of Greek cuisine, the similarities and differences from international cuisines and the influences it received from Pontus and Asia Minor.
 
Then, Mr. Mamalakis referred to his future plans, to the publication of his new book, answered the questions of the public and analyzed myths and truths about nutrition. A dialogue followed with the participants, while he promised when the conditions allow him to visit the Library live.
