On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 29, our young ahad the opportunity to talk to the author Mr. Christos Dimopoulos via video conference. Mr. Dimopoulos expressed the reason that led him to writing: he wanted to talk to the children in his own way. To talk to them about the rich Greek language, to pass, through imaginative stories, social messages and to stimulate their imagination. He elaborately described the adventures of the book heroes who travel around the world and discover hidden treasures and urged children to read many, many books that will “awaken” their creativity! He then had a conversation with the children and answer their questions honestly and with humor, bringing about smiles and laughter.
We thank Mr. Dimopoulos for accepting our invitation immediately and we look forward to having him at the Library when social conditions allow.
