The Adolescent Reading Club had the opportunity and the joy on Wednesday, April 14 to chat online with the well-known and award-winning illustrator Renia Metallinou. Ms. Metallinou has studied graphic design at AKTO and since 2014 has been involved in the illustration of children’s books in Greece and abroad.
The members showed interest in Ms. Metallinou’s work, asked questions and asked questions about the challenges and difficulties of the illustrator profession. Ms. Metallinou spoke about difficult moments in her career, her effort to find her personal style and the way in which she approaches sensitive social issues. She then shared with the participants some of her latest projects and thoughts on future plans.
