On the afternoon of Thursday, October 22, our young readers learned about our national holiday and especially about the message of the anniversary, that NO is a denial that, even at a heavy price, bears fruit.
Through the reading of the book “The resistance of the Greeks”, a wonderful book with lyrics by Filippos Mandilaras, an attempt was made to explain in a simple way to the children the adverse conditions faced by the Greeks of this period and their heroic efforts. to be liberated from the conqueror.
The children made their own crafts for the historic anniversary of October 28, 1940, learning that we must always strive for our values and ideals.
The workshops take place every Tuesday 2: 30-3: 30 p.m. and every Thursday 5: 00-6: 00 p.m. by pre-registration. For information, contact the Library service offices at 24320 / 23041-3
