In November 2015, the 2nd grade of the 1st Kalambaka Primary School had held its lesson using the space and equipment of the Library. During the lesson, students had the opportunity to communicate via skype with Mr. Iliopoulos who lives in Philadelphia, USA. Mr. Iliopoulos had made a very interesting presentation to the students on the topic “Technology–Capabilities and applications“.
On the occasion of Mr. Iliopoulos‘ visit to the Library and his new speech on “Examples of prosperity and masculinity“, the teacher Mrs. Yiota Pehlivanidi conveyed her students’ desire to meet him in person.
On the morning of Wednesday, February 17, Mr. Iliopoulos welcomed the children to the Library with great joy and presented in his unique way the issue concerning the Greeks of Greek descent who lived in America. With laughter and conversation, children‘s voices echoed throughout the building.
