The Library continues to implement the program “Tell Your Story!”, which records personal testimonies about significant historical events to preserve our local and national heritage.
This time, Ms. Chrysanthi Gkekou shared her experience from the era of child abductions and the Civil War, highlighting the pain and hardships of those times, as well as the loss of children and families.
Her testimony offers a moving insight into the consequences of war and displacement, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit in difficult moments. The program documents valuable stories, ensuring the preservation of historical memory and respect for the experiences of those who lived through these periods.
We invite anyone interested in sharing their own story to contact the Library at: 2432023041-3.
