Unique and moving moments were experienced by the Trikala Penitentiary Reading Club with the great and distinguished creator Mr. Dionysis Savvopoulos.
The members welcomed Mr. Savvopoulos in a special way; uniting lyrics, which have left an indelible mark on music history and are full of expressiveness, sensitivity, dynamism and dreams, they composed a piece of their own to express thoughts and feelings. Then, they talked with Mr. Savvopoulos about his youth, his course, his success, about moments of weakness but also moments of intense inspiration and creativity.
Mr. Savvopoulos touched everyone’s sensitive strings, stating that nothing can touch the soul and that we all have memories inside us, a “secret landscape”, which we resort to to draw strength and peace.
Many thanks to Mr. Savvopoulos for the extremely pleasant and constructive meeting; it was a special moment for all the participants. We also thank Ms. Eleni Kalesi for her cooperation.
We hope that, when the health protection measures allow it, we will have a live meeting with Mr. Savvopoulos, a creator with a timeless influence.
