On Monday, May 29, we welcomed the 1st grade students of the Kalambaka 4th Primary School to the Library. First, the students were informed about all the programs and regulations of the Library, and then they were engaged with mTiny, an educational robot that makes it easier for children to understand the concept of programming. The children were excited about the robot and familiarized themselves with its functions, programming it to constantly carry out new commands.
Then the young students watched the video entitled “The long journeys of 2P” an educational program of Action Aid, which approaches concepts such as human rights, poverty, health, inequalities, the environment, while at the same time we discussed all together for our role in the world around us and the future of the planet.
We would like to thank the 4th Primary School for the visit and cooperation and we are waiting them again!
