On Wednesday, May 17, we welcomed the students of the 1st grade of the 2nd High School of Kalambaka to the Library. The purpose of the visit was for the students to be informed about all the programs, especially those aimed at their age, and the Library’s operating regulations.
After touring all three levels and experiencing the collection of books and toys, they stayed in the media room to view the technology equipment and educational robotics packages. The children were excited about the robots and their functions, while they were impressed by the 3D scanner and printer and their applications in all scientific fields. They were also told about the microscope and telescope that the Library has and promised to come back for an evening of stargazing in the courtyard!
