On Wednesday morning, we welcomed the students of the 2nd and 4th grade of the Kalambaka 1st Primary School to the Library, in order to implement a workshop with the 2P educational suitcase of Action Aid. The young students met 2P, a doll that embodies the Global Citizen, traveled with him to many countries of the world and were excited by the experiences he gained from his long trips.
Afterwards, we all discussed key social issues together, such as poverty, social inequalities, consumerism, environmental pollution, while we mainly focused on global warming and the consequences of climate change. The children then recorded their thoughts about the future of the planet and expressed their wishes for how they would like their world to be in 10 years.
Many thanks to the 1st Primary School of Kalambaka, as well as Action Aid for the cooperation.
