On the morning of Friday, June 11, we had the pleasure to host in the Library the 2nd Grade of the 4th Elementary School of Kalampaka, on the occasion of the student painting competition organized by the Children’s Law Library and the Museum of Greek Children’s Art. Our little artists painted the dream of Caryatid who is in the British Museum and dreams of returning to the Acropolis Museum to meet her sisters from the Erechtheion. With the help of audiovisual material and the book by the author Vangelis Iliopoulos “In the evenings I dream that I am at home”, the children interpreted and captured in their own way the dream of Caryatid. The aim of the competition is to collect 3,191 works, as well as the kilometers that separate Caryatida from the Acropolis Museum.
We wish our little painters to realize the dream of Caryatid!
