On Monday morning, May 16th, we had the pleasure to host at the Library the 5th and 6th grade of the 5th Primary School of Kalambaka on the occasion of the educational program “Book: The pages that speak”.
The children had the opportunity to explore the Museum Bag from the Exploration Children’s Museum and discover the value and importance of books. The program covers all time periods, from rock art to today’s digital ebooks, telling the history of books and the evolution of printing. Students learned about important scientific discoveries, deciphered puzzles, met important personalities, and traveled to different cultures focusing on the role of books in the evolution of humanity.
The programme is implemented under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, under the auspices of the Hellenic Centre for Cultural and Museum Education, with ERT as the Grand Communication Sponsor.
We thank the students and teachers for their cooperation and the Exploration Children’s Museum for providing the Museum Baggage.
