On the morning of Wednesday, October 19, we had the pleasure of welcoming the students of the Grizano Elementary School. The children were guided through all three levels of the Library, informed about the collection and the different types of material, the services it offers and the educational programs. The children’s interest was mainly focused on the interactive board, where, with the help of the special educational software, they solved exercises based on the school lessons.
In addition, they explored the Museum Kits of the Museum of Cycladic Art that the Library has and saw exact copies of the figurines of the Cycladic culture and vases of the black-figure and red-figure style.
Finally, there was a discussion with the children about the benefits of reading and the pleasure of traveling through books to other imaginary worlds!
