On Tuesday, December 19, we had the pleasure of welcoming the small and bright “elves” of the 1st Kindergarten to the Library! Our little friends were given a tour of the children’s department and got to know the collection of books and board games. They learned the process to become members and promised to come again to borrow books for the Christmas holidays.
Then there was a reading of the fairy tale “Who Stole Santa’s Suit?”, a humorous story full of messages such as, that no one can steal from children the spirit and joy of these days and that the most valuable gifts are the love, hope and peace!
Finally, we all sang Christmas carols together and exchanged wishes!
