On Friday, December 8, we had the pleasure of welcoming the students of the Taxiarches Primary School to the Library. The young students were guided around all the areas of the Library, informed about the programs that take place, the process of becoming a member, the collection of books and toys of the children’s section and the Museum Collection of the Museum of Cycladic Art.
Then, they engaged with the robotics training packages for a first introduction to programming, and were excited about the robots’ functions!
Finally, there was a reading of the fairy tale “The Little Coconut Dragon: Christmas on Dragon Island”, in which the little dragon, trying to find the perfect Christmas tree, finds new friends and the true meaning of Christmas, which is nothing but love and the offer.
We would like to thank Taxiarches Primary School for the visit, we are waiting for them again soon!
