Having joined the National Library Program “Heroes, Let’s Meet” that was inspired by the Internationa Book Day, we chose and introduced to our young Library patrons Charles Dicken’s hero, Oliver Twist. We read his story aloud and the children exchanged ideas concerning his plight. Afterward, we drew Oliver on a piece of paper and surrounded him with appropriate key-words.
