On the morning of Wednesday 31/5, we welcomed the 3rd and 5th Grade students of the Kalambaka 1st Primary School to the Library, with the aim of implementing a workshop with Action Aid’s 2P educational suitcase. With the students we watched the video of the long journeys of 2P, a doll that embodies the Global Citizen, we analyzed concepts such as Hunger, poverty, human rights and tried to find our own role in everything that happens around us.
Children realized that we are all citizens of the world, that everything we do affects us and the environment around us. Global issues such as injustice, social inequalities, racism, build a wall between people; we today thought of ways to deal with these issues and “broke” the wall that prevents human relations from developing.
Many thanks to the 1st Primary School for the cooperation.
