Environmental Awareness through Play and Robotics
As part of the Summer Education and Creativity Workshop, an educational activity dedicated to environmental protection and the development of environmental awareness took place today. Through creative robotics activities, children explored the challenges facing the natural environment and discussed how everyday choices can contribute to protecting our planet. Guided by play, collaboration, and hands-on experimentation, participants became familiar with the basic principles of educational robotics while fostering a sense of responsibility and respect for the environment.
Children Take Center Stage in a Creative Activity in Kastania
The Library visited Kastania on Thursday, August 6, as part of the Summer Reading and Creativity Campaign, which this year is held under the theme “Books, Open Windows.” During the activity “My Hero, Me,” children talked about their favorite literary heroes and the values they represent. They then used their imagination to create their own original stories. The activity took place in a warm and creative atmosphere, reaffirming that books have the power to inspire, bring people together, and open new horizons for children wherever they may be. The Library extends its sincere thanks to the President of the village of Kastania, Mr. Giorgos Koffas, for his hospitality and cooperation, as well as to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of the event.
