Summer Activities 2026: Dice, Pawns, and Book-Plots (DIY Board Games)

Become the mastermind behind the most thrilling board games!

As part of our Summer Educational & Creativity Workshop, we invite young game designers to an exciting two-day challenge where books and mysteries are turned into boards, cards, and tactics!

Through this immersive experience, children develop logical thinking, storytelling, crafting, and sportsmanship.

🛠️ Part A: Designing & Crafting

Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 | 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The day of creation! Inspired by favorite stories and secret “book plots,” our young creators roll up their sleeves.

• Rule Making: We structure the gameplay mechanics, story lore, and victory conditions.
• DIY Production: We sketch our own custom boards, cut out mission cards, craft unique pawns, and style our dice using various arts & crafts supplies!

🏆 Part B: The Grand Board Game Tournament!

Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 | 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (or your next scheduled day) Time for action! The tables are set and the custom gaming arena officially opens.

• Playtesting & Challenges: The kids step up as active players and put their own mechanical rules to the test.
• Game Swapping: Each team presents their custom-made board game and invites other players to crack their mysteries, test their strategies, and crown the ultimate champion!
