Adult Reading Club Meeting

The poet of love, Tassos Livaditis, is the subject of the next meeting of the Adult Reading Club, which will take place on Thursday, March 4 at 5:30 p.m. Lovers of literature, this time, will escape from prose and will be introduced, with the erotic and unsurpassed Tassos Livaditis, to the genre of poetry.

The award-winning poet is one of the poets of the first post-war generation, while his work is divided into three periods. The first is revolutionary, the second is symbolic-allegorical and the third is metaphysical-existential. His writing is direct, true and human, it moves and inspires. His poems have been translated into many languages, have been set to music by important composers, such as Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Loizos and he is one of the most important Greek poets.
